Seeing Him Off

Yesterday  morning, we said farewell to my punk sweet little brother. His two weeks here flew by but the few days with Opa certainly helped with that. A lot of his days were filled with sleeping in until noon while we were at work, reading, and watching movies. But we certainly couldn’t let him go home without a trip into the city!

I actually had training in our downtown office on Friday so the boys went in with me and hung out downtown until I got done in the early afternoon.

Ryan had only one request while we were in Seattle: to go to Taprock again.

So naturally, we indulged him. It didn’t take too much convincing on his part though! Husband is always happy – just look at the beer selection!

We both got samplers – him an IPA sampler and me a stout sampler.

We enjoyed a hearty meal (not sure if it was lunch or dinner – it was 3pm) and split a killer dessert platter.

After, we tromped up to Gameworks to blow through the last of the credits from Ryan’s last visit.

The Grand Finale for the day: Mariners vs. Phillies!

We bought him tix to the game as an early birthday present. He’s a huge baseball fan so it was perfect. Well, near perfect. If Boston had been in town, that would have been perfect.

The game was actually really good! And Mariner’s won so that’s always a plus!

And there was legendary garlic fries, naturally!

Bomb diggity!

We had a blast at the game! It was a pretty good way to send him back to Montana!
