Spiced Waffles

I’ve got a recipe for you!

Pumpkin Spice Waffles

  • 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh-ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon cloves
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cup soymilk
  • 1 cup pumpkin purée
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

There was the perfect amount of spice in these suckers! And such a treat to get a veggie serving in!

This batch made 7 big waffles.

This waffle deserved nothing but the best – pure maple syrup.

I’m off to conquer the day!

  1. Looks awesome! I’m a little scared to register for a waffle maker — we’d use it all the time!

  2. OH MY GOODNESS those waffles look beyond amazing. I MUST make them now! 🙂 Thanks for sharing the incredibly delicious recipe.

  3. SPICED WAFFLES?! Wow. This one is going in the archives and coming out as soon as it’s a cold rainy Sunday morning . . . oh I hope it rains this Sunday. 🙂
