Dinner for the Doggie Driver

The driver of the dog must be fed!

I thought the perfect first meal would be a roast chicken. So I roasted a chicken!

And some red potatoes with salt, pepper, EVOO and rosemary.

And some asparagus, drizzled with EVOO.

Simple and classic and delicious.

We are so grateful of how everything worked out with Pippin. Trish hates to get rid of her but I think it is really going to be for the best for everyone involved. She travels a lot and hates having to leave her with a sitter or kennel her. And the summer Phoenix heat is no fun when you are covered in fur. Heck, it’s not fun when you aren’t furry.

It’s also great to see Jodus’ mom again! We didn’t get to spend much time together the wedding weekend. She’ll be staying through the weekend – and we have a fun agenda! Fingers crossed that the weather cooperates.

Someone needs some training… And I’m not talking about the dog. 😉

Tomorrow, we both have the day off to spend with Mom + Pippin! We’re off to experience the great Kitsap County!

  1. Thanks again for completely spoiling my mom and I with yet another amazing meal.

PS – I love that picture of the wine decanter!
