Waffle Wednesday

This deserves its own post.

It’s worth being late to work.

Heavenly bliss.

Half Wheat Waffles

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 2 Tbls organic sugar
  • 1 Tbls baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 Tbls butter, melted
  • 2 Tbls canola oil
  • 1 1/2 cups vanilla soymilk
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Combine flours, sugar, baking powder and salt in bowl, whisk together. Add eggs, butter, oil, and milk, whisk until smooth. If needed, add more milk to thin batter. Stir in vanilla. Make waffle’s according to waffle makers instructions.

Makes 4 large waffles.

Topping: 1 cup heated blueberries, stirred.

Sprinkle with powder sugar for extra heavenliness.
