Hale’s Ale’s

We went out to the car this morning and discovered an almost flat!

We found a gas station that had air (second try), filled up, and discovered a huge screw in our tire that was leaking air pretty quick like!

A trip to Discount Tire, an hour of waiting, and a cup of lemon herbal tea later, we were back on the road down to Fremont to go to the Farmer’s Market!

We made a slight detour to show Jodus’ dad GasWorks Park on Lake Union.

There was some sort of Halloween gathering!

And we saw a sea plane come in for a landing!

And we were so close to the Fremont Troll we decided to swing by there!

Some volunteers were cleaning up some vandalism.

Finally, we made our way down to the market. And were presented with empty streets.

A quick look on my Blackberry, turns out the market is only on Sundays.

By this time, it was after two and we our tummies were starting to rumble.

Jodus suggested Hale’s Ale’s so that’s where we went!

In a normal situation, I would have partook in a beer but because of my antibiotics, I just stuck with water.

But Jodus and his dad had nice big beers!

I ordered the Eggplant Mozzarella Sandwich with some Jo Jo fries.

It was a tasty sandwich!

Unfortunately, our waitress was not good at all which put a little bit of a damper on the experience.

We finally made our way home, after a couple more pit stops, one being to get pumpkins! 😀

The are HUGE! I love it! Not sure when this weekend we will carve them but I am looking forward to it! And baked pumpkin seeds especially!

  2. […] We went shopping after work (Good purchases! You shall see!) and hit the new Hale’s Ale’s at the Kitsap Mall. We went to the original Hale’s Ale’s in Ballard back in October with Jodus’ dad and had a dece… […]
